The whole town is flooded with Beetle maniacs

There are not many fancies that attracts such big followings as the "Beetles". This uniquely shaped automobile can be painted, dresses up and moved around o perform stances.

The Damasara Exit of the North South Expressway is one of the two popular meeting places for the convoy to assemble before moving out of town.

We enjoyed going out in a group and the long convoy of similarly looking vehicles draws quick attention and the differences among them enhanced the excitements.

Huge crowd normally attracts logistic and support problems. The long row of cars lined up the Expressway inviting lots of horning, tooting and "wows" from the passing traffic..
All participants felt pleased and proud to display the efforts of their hard work or just to be able to be a member of the pack. An urban crowd milling around the field of "Beetles"
In this occasion, the club had capitalized on its asset to draw the crowd to the popular Greentown shopping complex in Ipoh to promote awareness on World Aids Day.
Another place another crowd! Even in the parking lots of the hotel, owners would too pleased to open up their cars to show curious on lookers or while they were busy doing some last minutes tidying up.
Open air carnival time. the crowd simply adored such display of colors and imaginations.

Those with their powerful sub-woofers, that was the time to compete with their colleagues and get the money worth of admirations.

Not every where the convoy went, the cars were prominently displayed. Sometimes the club was not given distinct vantage positions. On this occasion, the cars were located beside the complex's side entrances. This made a difference to many in the crowd who found it inconvenient to stray from their routine.
When the display period was over extended, the flash in the pan disappeared and the poor "Beetles" were left as wall flowers. It was the attitude of the public that was pathetic not the cars!
